ORD — For nearly a year, Valley County has been trying to work out billing issues with former county surveyor Miller & Associates, but questions still remain.
Last year, the county received a bill for nearly $16,000 from the company, however many details were left off regarding various jobs. This includes when they were done and who authorized them.
Through a series of correspondence leading up to last June, the county worked through some of the problems. Still, much is unsettled.
The Board of Supervisors brought up the issue with the Kearney company at its most recent meeting, deciding to research into some of the problems a little more before making a decision on whether or not to pay.
