ORD — A Burwell man pleaded no contest in Valley County District Court after having one charge against him lowered and another dropped.
Daniel Lech, 40, was arrested in November on accusations of intentional child abuse and making terroristic threats after an argument with his 17-year-old son. The court indicated he was under the influence at the time.
The first charge was lowered to negligent child abuse, while the other was dropped in exchange for the no contest plea.
Lech is scheduled to be sentenced on March 22nd.
