HASTINGS — A woman accused of killing a Hastings toddler has had a change-of-appeal hearing scheduled.
The case of Azudany Serrano-Contreras, 34, will be heard on February 4th in Adams County District Court.
She had pleaded not guilty to intentional child abuse resulting in death for the March 2015 incident. Prosecutors say she was baby sitting Aliyana Peterson when she stuffed the wipe down the 19-month-old’s throat.
Court records didn’t indicate what the 34-year-old will be changing her plea to.
