ORD — She’s been on the job for about a week and that’s been enough for new Valley County Health System CEO Nancy Glaubke to begin to take in the changes around the area and at the hospital since she last lived here.
Gabe Altieri sits down with new VCHS CEO Nancy Glaubke:
Glaubke graduated from Ord High School and served as CEO of Valley County Hospital and Nursing Home in 1995.
This week, she got a chance to meet with members of the community as well as hospital employees at a meet-and-greet. “It’s so nice to be in this beautiful facility and to meet all the wonderful employees that we have,” Glaubke explains. “A lot of familiar faces that were here when I was first here, 20 years ago.”
“Overall, I’m just so pleased with the quality of care that we’re providing for the patients and for the quality of services we’re providing for the community,” she adds.
Glaubke highlighted some of those services, as well. Namely the walk-in clinic and the therapy pool.
