GRAND ISLAND — About 900 students were evacuated from Walnut Middle School in Grand Island after a suspicious package was found in the band room.
That turned out to be an accordion in a box.
The students and staff walked to Grand Island Senior High, which is a few blocks to the north.
The Nebraska State Patrol along with the Grand Island Police and Fire Department were called to investigate.
