KEARNEY — The City of Kearney says a $1 million anonymous donation has been given to complete a hiking and biking trail.
This goes along with a $250,000 grant from the Nebraska Game and Park Commission.
The trail will run 13 miles from Cottonmill Park to Fort Kearney State Park. It will be made of concrete and have limestone along the side.
The hope is to have it finished by the end of 2016.
