ORD — With the storm continuing to roll through the area, the big concern for those removing the snow is the wind.
Gusts are causing snow drifts and many roads remain closed. The National Weather Service in Hastings says the wind will begin to slow as the evening goes on, but still remain 20-35 MPH at any time and gusts could hit more than 45 MPH.
Highway 281 looks like the line where gusts could approach 50 MPH toward the east, while folks west of 281 can expect sustained winds of 20 to 25 MPH though at least midnight.
Keep it tuned to V-103.9 FM and The Mighty 1060 AM for the latest on the storm.
