ORD — It’s been a day of pushing and clearing across Nebraska, on Wednesday.
In Valley County, the day after the storm gave Jay Meyer and the Highway Department a chance to make progress.
“We’ve cleared all of our paved roads, we’re going to have all over our gravel roads, hopefully to get everybody out, at least one-way, by six o’clock tonight,” Meyer explains. “[Then[ start back-up at 5:30 in the morning.”
That’ts when the roads will begin to be widened, but the highway crews are encouraging caution on the road while the clean-up process continues.
