ORD — This Saturday in Ord, folks can come down to the Golden Husk and learn from local artists.
Six will be displaying their talents and teaching others their craft. These workshops feature introductory art projects, graphite design, water color art, wire-wrap jewelry making, pottery and creative writing.
The Husk’s Dahn Hagge says this is an opportunity to host something other than traditional theater. “There’s all different types of artistic experiences and projects that are welcome here,” she explains. “So, we invite the public to come in and see the space and enjoy our local artists and learn from them.”
Later that night, folks are invited for a love letter reading and dinner to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
The workshops run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM,, while the doors for the dinner open at 5:45 P.M.
