ARCADIA — Power was lost for about two hours in part of Arcadia this afternoon.
The area went dark at about 2:00 P.M. before recovering around 4:00 P.M.
Chuck Fuhrer at the Loup Valley Public Power District says a blown arrestor caused the outage. Those protect against lightning and other surges.
The issue has been fixed and power has returned.
