CAMBRIDGE — A Dunning man is facing charges for allegedly assaulting a student at a district wrestling meet in Cambridge over the weekend.
The Furnas County Sheriff says Stacy Micheel, 40, confronted a student in a hallway at Cambridge and slammed him to the ground. That student had just competed against his son.
Micheel is was taken in on felony child abuse. In addition, he was arrested on an outstanding warrant in Custer County.
Felony child abuse is punishable by up to three years in prison, a $10,000 fine or both.
He has been bonded out of jail and is set to be arraigned on February 22nd.
