LINCOLN — An aid-in-dying measure has been presented to a Nebraska legislative committee.
The bill would allow adults suffering from a terminal illness the legal right to end their own lives. If it passes, Nebraska would join five other states in allowing a similar form of this proposal.
The legislative would only apply to patients who are believed to have less than six months to live.
