LINCOLN — Coaches and media around the Big Ten voted Jessica Shepard as the conference’s Freshman of the Year.
The Fremont native won Big Ten Freshman of the Week a record ten times. She put up double digit rebounds in ten games and more than 20 points sixteen times.
That includes when she tallied the first 30 point, 20 rebound game in Nebraska history in January.
