INDIANAPOLIS, IN — Nebraska men’s basketball fell behind early and never recovered in a 97-86 loss to Maryland in the quarterfinals of the Big Ten Tournament.
The Huskers gave up nine three-pointers in the first half and trailed by as many as 23 in the loss. The team battled back to get within six with 97 seconds to play, but never got closer.
The defeat stops Nebraska a game shy of the tournament semifinals.
