ORD — Another year of The Big Give is coming to Valley County this week.
The event gives folks in the community the chance to help local non-profits. Through the first three years more than 1,000 donations have been received totaling upwards of $200,000.
“i just encourage everyone to get out and participate in The Big Give,” says organizer Dahn Hagge. “Whether it’s donating or sharing the opportunity or considering volunteering with a non-profit organizations throughout Valley County, it all matters.”
This year, things kick-off at Ord High School on Thursday at 9:00 AM. Donations will be taken beginning at 10:00 AM from Thursday and into Friday.
16 giving stations are set up around the area, while 22 local businesses are boosting The Big Give through promotions.
