LINCOLN — A survey from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln shows that the states agricultural land value has dropped 4% in the last year.
This is the second straight year of decline.
Statewide values were $3,135 an acre compared with more than $3,416 in 2014. This all comes as many producers face lower prices for crops and livestock.
The survey included real estate salespeople, brokers, appraisers, bankers and mortgage experts.
