WASHINGTON, D.C. — An effort by Nebraska and Oklahoma to have Colorado’s marijuana legalization declared unconstitutional has been thrown out by the Supreme Court.
The justices did not comment on why they won’t hear the lawsuit.
The two states argued that Colorado’s law allowing recreational marijuana use by adults contradicts federal anti-drug laws.
Two justices said they would have heard the lawsuit.
