NORFOLK — A Norfolk woman has been charged with intentional child abuse resulting in death after her four-year-old daughter was killed.
Carla Montoya, 21, told investigators on March 12th she tossed her daughter onto her bed three times and thought the child may have hit her head on the bed frame or wall.
Caylee Hoehne was pronounced dead at an Omaha Hospital, where she was being treated for a skull fracture and other injuries.
Montoya was originally charged with negligent child abuse.
