KEARNEY — Three employees and three teenagers were hospitalized briefly this week after an incident at a state-run juvenile facility in Kearney.
Five youths have been accused of assaulting staff members at the Youth Rehabilitation and Treatment Center.
In addition, ceiling tiles, sprinkler heads and doors in the room were damaged.
The kids who were hospitalized allegedly broke into a staff office and ingested diabetes medicine. One staff member was bitten in the incident.
