NORTH LOUP — Valley County Health System has clarified a public notice with details regarding the closing of the North Loup Clinic.
The hospital, as part of a federal requirement, had published information about how it was no longer participating in the medicare program under the Social Security Act. The correction specifies that this is for the North Loup Clinic only, as the facility is no longer in operation.
The North Loup Clinic closed this week after costly repairs to, and a low number of patients at, the facility.
VCHS plans to look into options for what to do with the building.
