Wheat for May was advanced 25.75 cents at $10.1025 a bushel; May corn rose 15.50 cents at $7.5050 a bushel, May oats fell 9.50 cents at $7.3050 a bushel; while May soybeans gained 19.50 cents at $16.0225 a bushel.
Beef and pork were lower on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. Apr. live cattle was off .65 cent at $1.38 a pound; Apr. feeder cattle lost 3.20 cents at $1.5837 a pound; while Apr. lean hogs fell 1.85 cents at $.9945 a pound.
