A Grand Island Police officer spotted a Honda Civic parked in a parking lot near 2222 Bellwood Dr. occupied by five teenage boys. When the officer approached the vehicle three teens exited and ran from the vehicle while to others stayed. A search of the vehicle was conducted and officers found marijuana, alcohol, and a firearm. All the teens in the vehicle were under the age of 21 and were also in possession of tobacco vape pens. Two of the teens that ran from police were cited for distribution of a controlled substance, minor in possession of alcohol, and minor in possession of tobacco/electronic nicotine. The third teen that fled the vehicle was cited for possession of a firearm during a drug transaction, distribution of a controlled substance, minor in possession of alcohol, minor in possession of tobacco/electronic nicotine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
