The Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office served a search warrant at a home in the 1000 block of 5th St on Monday around 7:30 a.m. In the home deputies found 27-year-old Alayna Montague and a minor child in the residence along with multiple controlled substances while searching the home. They found methamphetamine, marijuana, THC wax, and paraphernalia all within the home. After finding these items deputies arrest Alayna Montague for possession of a controlled substance, child abuse, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and possession of drug paraphernalia. While officers were searching the home 22-year-old Aleece Montague arrived at the home and she was placed under arrested in connection to the search warrant and was booked into Jefferson County Jail on charges of possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana less than one ounce, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
