The Lincoln Police Department dispatched officers to a report of shots fired at an apartment near the 1400 block of Old Farm Road on Saturday Jan. 21st at 8:45 a.m. When officers arrived at the scene the found a 20-year-old woman, a 40-year-old man and a 37-year-0ld man. The woman told police that she had brought the men with her to help her move items out of an apartment she shared with 19-year-old Larry Harris. While removing her things an argument occurred and Harris fired a handgun in the apartment and the bullet hit the 40-year-old man in the foot. Harris fled the scene after firing the gun but police later found him and a backpack he discarded while making his escape. In the backpack police found marijuana, suspected psilocybin mushrooms, and a Glock Model 19 handgun. Police were also able to later determine that the handgun was stolen from Topeka, Kansas.
