An 18-year-old Grand Island resident was pronounced dead following a Thursday morning crash southwest of Grand Island.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said the accident occurred at approximately 1:40 a.m. near Schauppsville Road and Wildwood Drive when the driver lost control. The vehicle rolled and ejected two passengers, including 18-year-old Brennan Villatoro, who was pronounced dead at the site of the accident.
The driver, plus four other passengers, were hospitalized in Grand Island. The extent of their injuries is unknown.
The Hall County Sheriff’s Office said they believe alcohol to have been involved and that criminal charges are pending.
