Shawn Purdy, father of Huskers quarterback Chubba Purdy, confirmed Wednesday evening his son will be entering the transfer portal.
Over two seasons at NU, Purdy started 4 games, including losses against Wisconsin and Iowa in 2023. Purdy has transferred before, originally starting his career at Florida State. He’ll finish his degree this month, then gains immediate eligibility as a graduate transfer.
