NORFOLK, Neb. — Norfolk invites community members to join in their efforts to spruce up the city.
The seventh annual “Clean the Fork” Day is scheduled for April 20, starting at 10 a.m. at North Fork Outing. Volunteers will gather at this location to register and collect necessary equipment before heading out in teams to various spots along the river, including Ta-Ha-Zouka Park, Skyview Park, and Norfolk Skate Park.
Participants are encouraged to bring their own cleanup gear such as rakes, grabbers, bug spray, sunscreen, and boots. However, trash bags and gloves will be provided.
Following the cleanup activities, a volunteer picnic is planned at North Fork Outing at 12 p.m.
