GRAND ISLAND, Neb. — A 25-year-old Grand Island man died early Sunday after being struck by a train in Grand Island.
According to the Grand Island Police Department, officers were dispatched to the railroad crossing near Lincoln Avenue shortly after 1:30 a.m. following reports that an individual had been hit by a train.
Authorities identified the victim as Tanner Cruse of Grand Island.
Investigators say foul play is not suspected at this time, though the circumstances surrounding the incident remain under investigation.
