A Grand Island man who had been reported missing was found dead Tuesday in Greeley County.
According to Greeley County Sheriff Paul Deaver, the Greeley County Sheriff’s Office was notified at about 1:20 a.m. by Region 26 911 Dispatch that Brandon Connick had been reported missing from Grand Island.
Authorities said information obtained through OnStar indicated Connick’s vehicle was believed to be in Greeley County. A Greeley County deputy was dispatched to the reported location.
At approximately 2 a.m., the deputy located the vehicle and found Connick dead. The Greeley County Sheriff, Greeley County Attorney, and the Grand Island Police Department were notified.
The Greeley County Sheriff’s Office expressed its condolences to Connick’s family and loved ones.
Officials said no further information will be released.
